One of my family members was nice enough to send me flowers for my birthday. Since they live on the east coast and far far away from here... they used 1800-flowers florist delivery service. On the day of my birthday, they attempted to deliver and arrangement. They were "nice" enough to leave it with my neighbors. Would have been nice if I KNEW that - no call to check and make sure I received it? No note on my door? I only received my flowers that night because I happened to run into them leaving my apt. Thanks for the great delivery. From there, it really only got worse. The arrangement featured lovely filler flowers that were alive. The roses which served as the focal point? Completely open, brown, wilting and within days of expiring. (Just what you expect from a $44 arrangement right?) Knowing that this person often ordered from 1800-flowers in the past for me I gave them a call, and found out the order did in fact come through them. 1800-flowers was wonderful and couldn't apologize enough, and offered a refund. Pathelen Flower and Gift Shop however decided upon hearing that I was less then pleased decided to come and repo the arrangement. (This is NOT 1800-flower policy, whose's POLICY takes preference to anything else.) Since I was not hope (like I was not there to receive it) they decided to harass my other neighbors in my apartment building because I wasn't home. Nice huh? I have once again had to place another call to 1800-flowers... of course for them once again to apologize and apologize and apologize. Dead flowers, crappy customer service. I did floral design for 3 years, all of that time working part time in numerous florists. Never, ever had a run across a florist who treats their customers this way or sends out this kind of merchandise.

the dog house is was where i was before i sent flowers to my wife, they where very nice lasted longer then the last flower i sent from another florist in my little town i will never show anywhere else. thanks pathelen you did a vry good job
